Cal Teixidor
Cal Teixidor Where hospitality is shared
Cal Teixidor is part of a project with soul: it is linked to the Planes Corts Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to preserve, revitalize and energize the municipalities of the Port Negre valley.
The foundation’s mission is clear: to promote initiatives that favor the sustainable development of the territory, the protection of cultural and natural heritage, and the improvement of the quality of life of the people who live there. Therefore, all profits generated by the hotel’s activity are entirely allocated to social and cultural projects in the valley: from the restoration of heritage elements to supporting traditional livestock farming, promoting dignified housing or encouraging responsible tourism.
At Cal Teixidor, each stay contributes to making possible a more vibrant future for the Pyrenean villages.
We await you to rest, reconnect with nature and become part of a shared story.
And if what you want is to develop your work project in a different facility, the Foundation has Cal Parramón, a coworking space in a unique environment.
Cal Teixidor

«In 1990, Pere from Cal Teixidor announced that he wanted to leave the cows and sell the house. I started talking to him with the idea of making a small restaurant there. It was while discussing it with my cousin Joan that the project grew: he proposed making a good restaurant and a future hotel. Unfortunately, Peret’s sudden death halted the procedures, which were resumed in the fall with his family. Finally, Joan bought the house in January 1991, and after a year of preparation, construction began in the summer of 1992. The hotel was inaugurated on September 23, 1993.»
